Update for 2021 Servus Edmonton Marathon — January 26, 2021
We continue to carefully monitor the restrictions and vaccination program from the Province of Alberta. Our approach for the 2021 Servus Edmonton Marathon is unchanged, in that we are basing it on the successful implementation of the vaccination program. With the vaccination program being phased over several months, and currently very early on in its initial roll-out, we feel it is prudent to be realistic and plan for something different in lieu of the 2021 event.
If you had registered for the 2020 Servus Edmonton Marathon event, you will have the option to take part in our 2021 virtual event or roll over into the 2022 Servus Edmonton Marathon. New registrations will also be available for the 2021 virtual event. Details and offerings for the 2021 virtual event will be announced in the coming weeks, with registration information announced at that time.
Please continue to follow the Provincial and local health guidelines and restrictions, and provide your support and encouragement to all our front line workers.
